Please give opinion.

I have been wrestling with making a final decision on a laptop that will replace my PC (finally... i am still running an xp pro, pent4, 2ram, office 03 system).

I bought an Asus ROG gaming GX750 with 17.3" screen. It was simply too big/heavy for practical usage, so I returned it last week.

My usage is 85% business, 15% games/movies. I am a publisher, so a good portion of my business activity (and family life) includes editing and rendering video/movies as well as graphic files.

I loved the ROG, but needed to step down in size, weight, etc. In researching next size down options, i came across Sager as an option. I have not read anything negative about Sager systems, with the exception that they are not sexy in appearance, which is not important to me. Great value is most important to me (biggest bang for buck) that is unquestionably reliable in build quality.

With that said, I have priced out a Sager NP7358 system that is designed to replace my PC entirely, including my external harddrive back-up storage device.

Please give me your thoughts on the following configuration. If money were no object, the pair of RAID HDD would be SSD, but alas I am not made of the greenbacks.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR THOUGHTS AND INSIGHTS. YOU GUYS ROCK!

I do a lot of video/movie editing as well as manipulation of high res graphics files (magazines, etc). the newer GPU is sexy, but soooo much more money (upgrade is approximately $550, but wasnt offered on this particular system).
