new laptop crashing/lagging, company not fixing it help

hello, I have a problem with a laptop I recently bought from asus, it is a high spec laptop and is laggy as hell crashes etc now I sent it in for repair by asus (RMA) it came back and all they did was reinstall the OS it did not fix the problem. I believe that asus will tell me to send it in for another RMA again and I doubt it will be fixed im not sure how I should approach this situation or how I can get them to replace/fix my laptop any suggestions would be appreciated

I'd be inclined to believe you are running into thermal issues. What surface is the laptop usually used on, does it provide adequate air flow to the vents? A flat, hard surface is ideal.
What programs are you using when it lags and what is the performance plan set to (in control panel power options)?
I'll suggest monitoring temps with CoreTemp, HWMonitor or SpeedFan or... and using a cooling pad (especially when gaming or other intensive tasks).
