After hooking up my 4DTV Sidecar, I was initially un-able to get any
channels. Then I read in the manual that you had to get a "Programmer" to
activate the receiver. I found and called a Programmer and they activated my
unit. They also asked me if I would be interested in a package and I replied
"No Thank you, I just want to see what I can get with the Clear Channels
(Free Stuff) and he said OK.

Today I receiver a message on my answering machine saying that they will
turn off my 4DTV box in 11 days if I don't order a package. Do I really have
to buy a package if I only what the Clear Channels? Is there another
Programmer I can swich to that will not force me to buy somthing?

All they can do is turn off the IPG. Once it receives its initial hit,
it will receive all the ZK stuff.
