nfs rivals is lagging

hi guys
i just purchased a new hp 14 j007tx laptop.
my specs are
i5 5200u 2.2 ghz
gtx 950m 4gb
12 gb ram

when i tried to play nfs rivals at medium- high setting it starts lagging some times. i.e at those times fps drops to 10 - 12 . i am playing at 1600 x 900 resolution.

please tell me guys if my hardware is not upto the mark or any other problems.

help me out guys,

Also please do try to update the drive of your graphics card to the latest one found in NVDIA's website.

i updated driver today itself. and my specs are almost close to recommended requirements hence i tried things at medium ones

still no result.

p.s i dont wanna play games at lower resolutions after purchasing a laptop at 70k(its is costly as per my budget also these are the best ones available in bhubaneswar)
