No 5.1 sound from prime video Sony TV app : X90F

Just got the Sony X90f 55 inch TV, connected it through arc to get surround sound from TV apps like Netflix and prime video. Netflix is giving me 5.1 dolby digital plus but in prime video I am only getting 2.1 pcm sound. Not sure what I am doing wrong, even tried optical cable still not able to get 5.1 sound from amazon prime.

Please help..

Have you looked at quality settings in the Amazon app?

Im wondering if it's a licensing issue

But how come others are able to get 5.1 surround sound whereas I am only getting pcm 2.1 :/

If it's not licensing then theres an option in the app maybe?

If Netflix is able to send 5.1 through to your avr means your setup is fine and wouldn't blame anything other than Prime itself. Is there a chance you can update it, or re-download Amazon Prime to see if theres a newer addition?
