no green light on my comcast digital adapter

always have had problems with digital adapter - pixelates - get message for interrupted service. But by fiddling around (moving box) and/or getting refresh signal from comcast, I have always been able to get it to work. Then all of a sudden, my green light went out. It's plugged in and everything is connected as before - but no green light and no digital cable services. How do I fix?

If it's a Comcast unit, contact Comcast to have them replace it.
