No Media Player Functions & Missing Sound

Hi,

All of a sudden my sound disappeared and my media players (Winamp, VLC) won't play music - stuck on loading. Same with YouTube on every browser (Opera, Google Chrome, FireFox) - video loads but doesn't play at all.

Does anyone know what's going on and how can I fix this?

What type of computer do you have? what model is it?

Go to your laptop/motherboard manufacturers website, punch in your model number, and look for the latest driver AND BIOS updates for your computer.
