No sound Panasonic tv from bluray

Hi
I have just change my Sony TV for a Panasonic.. All going well but just tried to play a bluray through old Sony player and we have get lovely picture but no sound.. Checked all the settings and can't see anything obvious.. Any help?

It would help if you listed all devices related to this issue, is it just the player and the TV, or are there other devices in the chain?

Are you using HDMI?

  The connection uses a HDMI-to-DVI cable.
  The TV may not be set to the appropriate HDMI video input.
  You are trying to play a MPEG2 Program Stream (PS) file.
  The HDMI cable may be faulty.

We have a new 680b series TV.. HDMI 1 has a new sky q box works fine.. Tried HDMI 2 and 3 for the bluray that worked fine on the Sony TV previously.. BDP-S780
Great picture, no sound..
Checked all the setting options I could find on TV and Bluray.. Couldn't see anything that looked wrong???!! HDMI output set to digital on all the HDMI outputs..
Any ideas??
