I have a Philips HTS 5540 5.1 home theatre system, which i've connected to a pc through "Audio(red and white cables) RCA to aux cable".Sound is coming through every speaker there is no problem in that. But when i test my speakers for 5.1 surround test front right and left speakers are doing well but when it comes to rear right and left the sound is being emitted from front right and left speakers. What can i do to make the sound emit from rear right and left when i test them

My home theatre-https://www.philips.co.in/c-p/HTS5540_94/5.1-home-theater/specifications

Solution
You have connected your sound system with stereo cable and expect 5.1 sound from it?
No, it doesn't work this way.

What are available audio outputs on your pc? Can you provide info about your pc? Motherboard model name?
Your 5.1 home theater system has digital coax audio input. You'll need to use that for 5.1 sound.

Your motherboard has onboard spdif header.
You can connect spdif to rca bracket to it (probably it was supplied with your motherboard).
If you have lost it, then you'll need to get a new one.

Theoretically - yes. You'd need to cut off 3.5mm connector and connect appropriate wires to motherboard spdif connector.

No. This adapter is for converting digital audio to analog. You have no use for it.

Hi Surya,
Are you able to connect PC (SPDIF) to hometheater Digital Coaxial using FiiO L21 cable to get the 6 channel output (5.1)?
