Panasonic 4K LCD LED tv. Screen keeps restarting during DVD playback

Can anyone help. Tv is about 8 months old. When I watch a DVD on my connected LG surround sound system, the TVs screen goes black and then restarts. Audio is still playing during the restart though. Sometimes it does it every 30-40 mins, other times it's only 2 minutes between blackouts.

Bad cable.

Remember back in the day when your image would go fuzzy, or colors would go weird because of a bad/loose connection? Digital signals do not do this, when they encounter a poor connection, they go black.

Get a high quality HDMI 2.0 cable and this problem should be eliminated.
