.How can I extend it? Is there a way to add wires on the end, like an extension process? I am looking to move this system to a new shelf, but would only like the speakers about a foot higher. I don't want to raise the subwoofer..

Updated: Here are some pics! (Pardon the dust, it's been up there for a few years)

The other end is permanently inside the sub...It looks like you'd have to completely disassemble it to find the other end

Yes, there is undoubtedly a way to extend that cable.
But since we do not know just what type of cable it is, there is no way to suggest the optimum way to do it.

What kind of cable is it? Pics would help.
