Today during the black friday mayhem i was shopping at Best Buy when all the sudden they brought out pallets of Dynex 32 inch HDTV's selling them for $450. Regular price on them are around $750 or so but my gut wouldn't allow me to buy it. In three weeks i plan on getting a Toshiba 32 inch Regza and as i sat there i wondered "Buy my Toshiba in three weeks or buy this one from a company and brand i have never heard of". The fact that i never heard of the company weighed on me and they only had a 19 inch version of the TV on display in some dark corner of the store. Something about it just didnt feel right even though people were grabing boxes as if they were spilled money bags. Did my gut feeling save me from a mistake or is HD just HD no matter what the brand is?

thanks alot for the replies. there was just something off about it that i couldnt get passed. I've seen "real" HD before, the kinda HD you run into at a friends house and your like "whoa" and you contemplate how you can get away with bashing his head in and escaping with his TV set down a fire escape. I also seen "we're trying to get there" HD from no name companies where all the images are a gray haze and pixelated to death. The set is usually sitting on top of a toilet bowl where it belongs or in some room no one uses. When i seen Dynex i just visualized a bad experience. I'm sure they make good sets but i been looking at the Regza line of Toshinba's for the last 3 months and i know i'm making a good choice in getting that one.
