might be a dumb question but im wondering if you use a RCA splitter can i connect my TV audio to the PC speakers, and the other end to the PC and use both?

Solution
Maybe but might be better to use an input selector switch. When you use a splitter you are also connecting the TV output to the PC output. That might cause damage or not work at all.

A switch box with video also is cheaper than an audio only box in most cases so just don't use the video..
