Ok, so I installed a pirated copy of Sony Vegas 13 pro. Upon installation, it asked me to replace the files from the installation folder with the contents of the crack folder. The pirated installer's folder not only contains the installer and the crack folder, but also 2 registry editors, and those were required to be run as well, and so I did, and it did a bunch of registry editing. The computer runs normally then, but upon restarting, it slowed down somehow. I tried using full scan with Windows Defender and Avast, and also the boot scan with Avast, but no virus or malware was detected. The change in performance isn't necessarily mind-shattering, but a super conscious person like me would recognize some slow as a big problem. Is it perhaps I'm super conscious of my hardware? Btw, I'm using a laptop with Core i7-7500U, 8gb of ram, and Gt 940mx and I'm in battery saver mode before and after installation of the software.
