connected using
video using DVI-HDMI\ cable to hdmi2 on model: klv-40bx400.
sound PC 3.5mm plug to 3.5mm input at side of TV

It works fine until I change my faulty graphic card on my PC. The picture / video ok except no sound. Tested the 3.5mm output ok.( works on other speaker)

Using the same sound port but video connected thru 15PINS vga to PC port,, both sound & video ok but very bad picture quality (using PC instead of HDMI2)

How can I sound on HDMI2 (try on rca cable to AV port) also failed

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- First do try changing the default sound of your laptop.
- Right click on the speaker icon and select Playback Devices.
- If you see the TV listed or the speaker, right click on it and select Set Defaults.
- Click Apply and OK then test it again.
- If it will not work, do uninstall/reinstall the Sound Card driver.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Sound card driver.
- Once uninstalled, download and install the latest driver.
- Reboot the laptop and after the reboot do make sure to set the correct Playback Device.

Have reinstall the sound driver, still the same. It works if I switch to pc mode instead of HDMI2 & using 15pins VGA cable.
