phone blocked asking to login with google account?

My sons samsung was in his pocket and swiped too many times and blocked him out. It is asking for google log in but we don't have one. Is there another way to reset passcode without google login?

I`m not what message you get, but ask your son to login with his personal email address and check if that works.
If this is not possible, just create a new account and try to log in.
If you have problems creating the account on the phone, use a PC for it.
