My Samsung 55" Smart TV will not play two MP4 files I have on a WD HDD (Plugged into the USB Port). Both files display "The selected file is not currently supported". For solving this problem, I have searched a lot including https://community.netgear.com/t5/Stora-Legacy/Why-can-t-I-watch-mp4-files-on-my-TVs/td-p/434351, http://www.videoconverterfactory.com/tips/samsung-tv-mp4.html and http://www.mediadimo.com/samsung-tv-mp4-solution.html but I don't know why they all in vain, what should I do next? any help will be appreciated.

Reading between the lines I'm thinking you are saying the TV plays most of your MP4s but not those particular 2 ... is that correct?

If so, it's a reasonably common problem. The thing is - MP4 is a container for the actual audio and video files ... the video codec used in the video file (in the MP4 container) is most likely a type not supported by your tv. As a guess, I would say a 265 (HEVC) codec was used and your tv only supports 264. If you download mediainfo lite - it will give lots of info regarding the files in the MP4 container.
