I have System Volume Information and $Recycle.bin on my Seagate Expansion Drive. I want to delete it but i retry almost everything with "takeownership" CMD control delete, but they keep coming back.

So i want to reinstall a new copy on my main desktop but if I re plug my Seagate Drive in, can i delete this way?

Please help! I have a new desktop i build but i need the stuff on my Seagate expansion drive and i dont want to overwrite everything and clean it. Much is really appreciated

Have you run any AV software? If so then what you are seeing is probably not a virus.

You are most likely just seeing normally hidden folders.

There are other similar links if you just simply google "What is $Recycle.bin".
