Hello guys i am a gadget guy and I like electronic stuff.Dad bought a fujiilm s1 with 50x zoom its a simple point and shoot and i kind of love shooting birds and animals and i got some quite good results so i thought I think i should get my personal camera.
On summer i ill have the money to buy some stuff i want.
So please leave suggestions what should i buy or get
1.)Iphone 6 plus(i currently have a Oneplus one phone which is quite as good 5.5" 1080p quad core 2.5 ghz 3gb ram)
2.)Nikon d7100 only with kit lens
3.)Nikon d5300 + accesories like tripods maybe a grip extra battery or just maybe a 70-300 mm lens
4.)D3300 + Ipad mini 2 + acesories or 70-300mm lens

Okay don`t get a IPhone, just go Android, simple. And as camera goes, the D7100 is a very very good camera, but the D5300 is also great and you can get all the extras, so I`d say no. 3

Dude the D3300 is not bad, in fact it`s very good, but why compromise from a D5300... Sounds like you really want that Ipad-mini. Look if your not a pro photographer, then the 7100 is stupid, and maybe even the 5300, I was going on the assumption that you are. If you just want a very nice camera then the 3300 is great and you then have a Ipad mini and lenses.

So I will change my original suggestion to no. 4, but that`s only if the camera is for personal use....

whichever cheap (even used) canon or nikon DLSR body you can find and afford, plus a GOOD lens. a good affordable lens is a tamrom 70-300 VR available for both canon and nikon bodies. if the body you buy can also be had in a kit with an 18-55 lens, then you'd be set for years.

body + 18-55 + 70-300 + 50/1.8 is all that anyone needs (well, 99% of people)

The d7100 body is 750 on ebay thats like my full budget but i hope it will drop like 100 $ when d7200 comes out real son.The standard 18-55mm vr 2 is about 50-70 dollars and the nikkor 70-300mm no vr i can buy for 100 :) that can make me all set and please can u tell me how many mm is focal length compared to a full frame camera using an 70-300mm on a d7100 cropped sensor body using the 1.3x crop factor build into the camera that would be epic :) Imagine plus a 2x telephoto converter ^^

1 - don't bother with D7100 if you're just starting. buy a D3000-series or D5000-series. cheaper. for the 70-300, definitely don't buy a non-VR / non-VC. it will be VERY useful to HAVE it. i love the VC on my tamron - it is amazingly stable.

ALWAYS spend more money on lenses than bodies. bodies are disposable. lenses you keep longer.

2 - i personally dislike converting focal lengths. it's technically incorrect and opens a whole can of worms. but the easy answer is to just multiply it by the crop factor like 1.3 and be done with it. or ignore it altogether. or learn that the real important part is the angle of view.

3 - don't use a teleconverter. some lenses don't work with them, and the optics usually suck. 99% of the time you can get the exact same results by simply cropping in photoshop - AND you don't need to carry extra parts with you or spend money on them.

3.1 - photoshop isn't required, there's alternatives like GIMP or Corel's photo suite (which i quite like)

1 - it's not the arrow, it's the indian

2 - t3i, 7d bodies. four 430exii flashes. canon 10-22, canon 24-105L, canon 300/4L, sigma 17-70, canon 50/1.8, tamron 90 vc macro, tamron 70-300 vc, canon 18-55 (kit lens). i think that's it. i shoot whatever catches my eye. the 300/4L is the main one for wildlife.

Maybe i should get the d3300? Even that it lacks a lot of features i heard like Hdr bracketing i dont care about wifi and gps.I like the d7100 a lot cos of its proffesional look and i like it cos of that 1.3x crop u can do where images would be 16 mp instead of 24 mp that equals extra reach :p Im not sure my self i should spend this much on a body though idk if im serious its just a new hobby :)
