Is there an upgrade available that will improve the sound from my dvd. the tv is a newish panasonic smart tv. Poor sound from the dvd player. But all older recorded material is fine.Help

If the sound is not satisfactory on the DVD but is fine on your other sources then I don't think there is much you can do about it. You could play with any TV audio controls but if they make the DVD sound good you might not like the effect on other sources.
