Power Adapter Problem

Hi guys,
I got a Dell laptop and the charger left from this life. The specs of the charger are INPUT: 100-240V 1.5A 50-60HZ, OUTPUT 19.5V, 4.62A i have replaced the adapter with an OEM and not with original Dell charger and the specs are: INPUT: 110-240V 50-60HZ 1,5A MAX, OUTPUT: 19V 4.5V MAX. The laptop boots just fine but the battery is not charging with the adapter i use and there is a message saying adapter is not original please replace one with Dell blah blah. What i can do to fix it?

Buy an OEM battery from Dell.
