I recently purchased the Creative D200 Bluetooth speaker. I seem to have succesfully paired the device with my laptop (running Windows 10), but can't get it to play any audio.
When I right-click an MP3, mouse-over "Cast to device" and select "Creative D200", I am presented with a bizarre semi-literate error message stating "That didn't work/Try again and make sure that your speakers is [sic] still discoverable". Searching Google returns no mention of anyone else encountering this message!
In Bluetooth settings, Bluetooth is set to "On", and the Creative D200 device is described as "Paired". Every time I remove the device and rescan it detects the speaker and pairs successfully, so the problem does not appear to be a weak signal (I have tried with the laptop less than a meter from the speaker, just to be sure).
Device Manager tells me the Creative D200 device is working properly, and when I search for an updated driver it says I already have the best version.
Can anyone help me figure out what the problem is? Thanks in advance!
