I have a pair of plantronics 380 headphones, the headphones work great, but the microphone doesn't work, I don't know why, I need it to communicate on skype and for work. I tried reinstalling the drivers, also I noticed, that when I try to speak in it, it doesn't notice the headphones microphone, but the one on the laptop. Can anyone help me?

You need to change the microphone defaults in both windows and skype. If the recording devices shows a green line lighting up when you speak into the mic, then it definitely is just a software setting mistake.

i tried it on another laptop. I think it is windows 10 incompatibility. The headphones are fine. It is pretty weird, I have 2 jacks for mic and for headphones and mic. I don't know what is the problem, is pretty weird. Also the microphone driver can't be configured for both. I don't see the mic from the headphones.

laptops and computers generally don't have 3 channel outputs (well, one input), so it can certainly be user error. If you use a headphone with microphone, you need a 3 channel to 2+1 channel adapter (one side takes your headphone, the other has a speaker cable and microphone cable, both separate)
