Problem With Razer Kraken 7.1 V2 Chroma Wire

So I recently found my Razer Kraken Chroma and I tried plugging it into my computer but each time I connect it my PC brings up this same message. "The Last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it. Try reconnecting the device. If Windows still does not recognize it your device may not be working properly." sometimes it will connect but then after like a minute it disconnects and I have to unplug it and then replug it in(It's like that on my PS4 as well).

I think the reason why this happened is that a while ago when I used it for my ps4 I would accidentally step on the Cord really hard and it would rip out.

Sounds like you have already diagnosed the issue (defective device). Repairing/replacing the cable might help. Disassemble and inspect for damage.
