Problems connecting my computer to my TV

Hello there,
I'm currently experience issues as I can't connect my computer to my TV via HDMI. Well, technically I can, but the picture isn't full HD, it looks kinda distorted and the edges are cut. Mind that I just changed my old AMD HD 6000 series GPU with a GeForce GTX 750Ti from Gigabyte. I used to connect my old GPU to my TV via VGA but my new GPU doesn't have a VGA port. Any recommendations on how to fix that?

Is the resolution set to the native resolution for the set? Note that non-1080 TVs have a lot more issues with computer display than newer 1080 sets.

Even when you set the resolution correctly you may still get overscan at the edges. Check the TV menus and manual to see if you can set it to not overscan,
Try a different HDMI input as a last resort.
