Program for viewing video's other than media player

Hopefully someone can help me with this. Can someone recommend a program for watching video's other than Windows Media Player. I hate MP it's glitchy and you have no other controls other then play fast forward and rewind. I was hoping for something that can do kind of like youtube with speed controls and stuff like that.

GOM PLAYER / Media Player classic / or VLC they are all very good

No they are all free and better than Windows Media Player I think and I use different one's depending on what I feel like have them all installed and klite-kodec pack updated all the time
