Hi

Projector great when 1 hdmi cable is attached to skybox and hdmi1 on projector. When I attach a second hdmi cable to the dvd player and hdmi2 on projector, there is dramatic interferance and picture flashes...help!! is this normal? It would be nice to just change from hdmi1 to hdmi2 at the click of a source button...wasnt to be!!!!

To figure out where the problem lies you have to try a few things.
1. The order that your projector and source are turned on can make a difference. Try switching to input 2 and then turning on the DVD (or the reverse if you did it that way before).
2. Connect the DVD to the same cable and projector input that worked for the cable box.
If it works then the problem is either in the other cable or other input of the projector. Try moving the working DVD and cable to input 2. If it works then the 2nd HDMI cable is bad. Long HDMI cables can have problems with one combination of source and projector and not a different combo.
If it doesn't work then the DVD or the other cable are the problem. Try the DVD and other cable on input 1.
If the HDMI 2 input is bad get an HDMI input selector with remote and you will be able to switch without pulling cable.
