Solved! Proper image resolution for dvd slideshow?

I would like to know the best image size and or resolution to use on JPEG images that I would like to include in a DVD slide show. I will be running the slideshow in a banquet room big screen from my laptop with a projector. Thanks.

The resolution of the images are independent of being on a DVD.

The best image resolution will be equal to the projectors resolution.
