Greetings to all the fellows in Tom's Hardware Forum once more!
My laptop is a Sony VAIO VPCEC2M1E with these specs: http/mobile-computers.tech-specs.com/sony-vaio-vpcec2m1e-wi-n57149865 ,it's more that 7years old and i thought, it would be nice, ('cause the laptop itself is still a "beast") to upgrade at least its RAM to its maximum capacity (8GB).
What I ask you is, if you can tell me the specific requirements of the RAM my laptop can take. Doing so, you will put my mind at ease, that next time I will search for a RAM with your given specifications, I can buy it ,without a second thought of not working on my system.
Here are some of the compatible upgrades Crucial suggests for my laptop: http/www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/Sony/vaio-vpcec2m1e
Taking into account Crucial's recommendations, these are the specs all the RAM have :
•DDR3L PC3L-12800 • CL=11 • Unbuffered • NON-ECC • DDR3L-1600 • 1.35V •
,saying that much, if I find a RAM with the same exact specs, will I have no problem at all using it?
P.S.: I want to buy from my country's shops (easier/faster), so ordering something from other countries is out of the question.
Thanks a lot for your time checking at my problem! I am looking forward to your reply!
