So I bought a new laptop. For two weeks it was all good, but now I hear a rattling noise coming from the left vents on my Acer laptop. Sometimes the sound isn't there. Sometimes I can barely hear it. Sometimes it's actually loud if in quiet environment.

When I hear the rattling I always check the temperatures, and my i3-5015U never went above 46 at idle and 65 while gaming which is good.

Should I be worried? It's not my HDD btw because its on the bottom right corner of my laptop to the right of the touchpad.

The sound is likely the cpu cooler fan.
I would return the unit for replacement.
You are working ok now, but such a sound is indicative of an upcoming fan failure that may well happen after the warranty has expired.

The laptop is 2 weeks old. It's under 1 year warranty. If something happens to it, they pay for it.

For example right now, rattling isn't there. I can barely here the fan but there is no rattling.

Should I be worried?

A fan should not rattle.
I once had a laptop which worked fine, but the fan had a rattle.
In time, the fan failed and the cpu overheated.
Cost me $100 to get it fixed.

You should hear the fan, particularly under load.
But it should be a constant drone, not a rattle.
