I just bought a nintendo wii and the manual says certain tv sets will get damaged (you will see the silhouette of the game image permanently on the tv set due to the waves emitted). It says that projection tv's and other models can get damaged). Is this one safe to use?

If you are using CRT old style TV, the image can burn itself into the picture tube, over a long period of time...but newer TVs with LCD, LED, plasma do not have this problem.
Do you have an old style TV with a picture tube?
