Solved! RCA or 3.5mm to get 5.1 dolby digital

I recently bought Sony TZ145 home theatre and I want know which one to use RCA or Aux port for connecting home theatre to get the dolby digital and best audio quality...

You can't get 5.1 input to that unit. From the manual, it only has stereo red/white. You can't input 5.1

If you want digital surround sound you need to get digital audio to the HTS. This requires HDMI-ARC, coax or optical SPDIF output and input. Keep it in mind next time you get a surround sound.

I have 3 Hdmi but no hdmi arc(3 year old TV).
Im getting all 5 channel sound when in multi setting.

Am I missing anything? Is Hdmi arc the only way to get surround sound...
