I clicked on a phishing e-mail link on my MAC. However, I am not certain if I have a problem, as when I clicked on the link instead of taking me to their site it just opened a new search tab on my browser entitled - search.hdirectandmap.com. In light of this does anyone know if I have malware etc?

What was the phishing e-mail per se?

Was the link you clicked applicable within the context of the email and made sense to click?

I tested the link (Windows10/ Edge) and got "Page not found".

My thought is that there was either an error in the URL or some redirect occurred somewhere.

No harm in being safe. Download an AV application for your MAC and scan.
