Oops my bad. was thinking of industry standard hard drives.At any rate, yes
they are available for most notebooks, not expensive, and at speeds up to at
least 8x. Without knowing OP's notebook model, I guess we don't know if he
can get one cheap or not. I suppose they would be considered very high end
for the ultra slim notebooks since they are not intended to do any kind of
video editing/recording in the first place.
