Solved! Remove CD/DVD module Dell D600

Solution
there's a button that when you press it, it kind of ejects. when it's sticking out, you should be able to just pull it out by pulling gently on the ejected button. When that button is pressed in flush to the body, there's a little flange that sticks out, keeping the drive from falling out. when the button is sticking out- that flange is retracted and nothing holds the drive other than friction.
