Replacing Dell Inspirion HHD with SSD

I am going to be replacing the HHD in my dell inspirion n7010 with a Samsung 840 evo 250gb SSD. Does anyone know if this will be compatible. Also does anyone know if this software will be able to reinstall windows 7 onto my new SSD.

That SSD will be absolutely fine. To install windows, those disks may work but IMO it's better to download the windows ISO from microsoft ad put that on a USB to install from there.

When I try and get the ISO from microsoft they say they don't offer that software anymore
