Resolution problem ?

it should be same as this but resolution is 1366 * 768 : http/www.amazon.com/ASUS-X550JK-DH71-15-6-Inch-Laptop-Dark/dp/B00NGK7GHG

My question is if i connect that pc to my 1920*1080 monitor with a VGA Cable,, on wich resolution will it run 1080 or 768 on my monitor ?

Also what are the downsides knowing that i will be buying it for 838$/750Euros ?

when you plug in to the monitor, it will display at 1080p on the monitor by default, even through VGA.

uh, I wouldn't say there are any downsides, but if you're gaming on your monitor, for example, your laptop's hardware is not meant for a 1080p resolution, so it may get very hot and have poor gaming performance.
