Well, i recently bought a new headset for gaming purposes and everything seemed to be working fine. The speakers were working perfectly, but the microphone seems to be not working fine.
My laptop is a Lenovo 20354, and i am running windows 10.
There is a certain part. A Dual-jack PC adapter.
Does this mean that this headset was meant for a PC or a laptop?

Thanks in advance.

Sadly in the case of many laptops anymore they have decided to add jacks that are for sound out only. They will work with any headphones, but not any microphones.

Don't even get me started on the lack of logic to that. :)

The only 'simple' way out of it is to either get an adapter, that will accept your headsets plug and then allow it to be connected via USB. Or get a USB headset w/mic. The former is 'usually' the cheaper option.
