I am buying a new phone for Christmas and i'm between those two. The price is the same. I have read that you can't store apps on the sd card, is that true. If so the 16gb memory on the s3 will come quite handy.

Yeah there are other phones, but if these are your choices you need to go with then i would go with the S4 Mini. Easier to handle, smart, fast, and of course reliable. That's just my opinion though. Hope this helped a little.

My budget is maximum 300 euros. The S3 and the S4 mini are priced at 299 euros. Other phones at this price range is Xperia SP, LG optimus L9 and HTC desire 500. By the way do you know if apps can be saved on the sd card on android phones?

What about the Nexus 5, Nexus 4, and Motorola Moto G? Or do you just want phones that can occupy a micro SD card? About your question, I have search that as well. It seems like it's very complicated to get apps installed to sd cards.

That is why i want a mobile with high internal storage because i want to install many apps on it. As for the phones you suggested none of those are sold in my country at the moment (sold out). So out of the mobile phones i mentioned above, i narrowed down to s3 and s4 mini. I have been thinking that 299 is quite the bargain for an s3, and it satisfies all my expectations. I have seen apps on play store that can store apps on sd card but it does not always work according to the reviews. So i'm inclining to the s3 because of the internal storage. Wht do you think?

I own the Galaxy S3 too. It's a nice phone, been using it for about a year. But looking at spec wise, the S4 mini is a bit more powerful than the S3. Between those two, I don't really know either.

For double storage (s3 16gb and s4 mini 8gb), i am willing to sacrifice a little power.

That's true. Even 16GB isn't really enough for me. Well if you are willing to sacrifice the power, then go ahead for the Galaxy S3.

Just got your device right in the time for Christmas. Thanks and Marry Christmas to you too! Might want to explore your phone for its features.
