Samsung Galaxy 5 won't connect to PC

I recently got a Asus G75VW and attempted to connect my Samsung Galaxy S5 to the pc. I noticed that when I reboot the pc with the device still attached, it is recognized for a few seconds pon start but then disappears and will not be recognized even manually search won't help. My Pc is running Windows 10 64 bit and the phone is running Android 5.0

Disconnect phone before starting or restarting Windows.
Reconnect phone when Windows has finished loading.

Or simply unplug phone while Windows is running, then plug it back in.
Shouldn't do any harm since it's USB which is hot-pluggable.

I already tried this before posting. It didn't work unfortunately

try the Samsung on another pc to see if it is seen properly.
