Samsung NP-R505H No Video Signal

Hi I was wondering if anyone could help. This laptop just won't show any sort of image on the screen and have tried to use vga and use an external display but no joy (I pressed fn and f4 but still nothing)

The fans all spin fine and I have read that there won't be no image unless an o.s is installed but even with a boot able disc in the drive I still get no image. Any suggestions as to what this could be?

Is there a way you can try to clear the CMOS? Not familiar with that laptop.

I thought it be cmos as when both memory sticks are taken out there is no memory beep.
I just not sure myself as to where the cmos battery would be. I am more into desktop not so much laptop

I see, with the memory out you should surely get some sort of beep code, might be something with the mobo... Anyone wanna jump in on this?
