Samsung np530e5m not turning on, power LED is on.

I have a Samsung series 5 notebook, model listed above. One night after playing World of Warcraft heavily I woke up to find that it won't turn on. I get the blue "power on" LED (After several seconds, that is) then it just stays on. Nothing else boots, no fans, no usb ports work, hdmi etc. If I push the power button again it shuts off instantly.

I have literally spent hours messing with this thing and have read everything there is to read about this laptop online, anyone got a hail mary for me?

I am starting to think that the motherboard is either dead or there is a short somewhere, I have completely disassembled the laptop and tried just the motherboard on my test bench but it still does the same thing. It was a mistake in the first place to buy a Samsung laptop, I should have known better and gotten an ROG. Instead I forked over a stack for it to last not even 1 year.

I have read a couple of comments on other Samsung models, in which they were behaving the same way and I guess it was the memory in those cases. I'll have to come up with a stick of that RAM and give it a shot I think.

Yeah, I've read through that a few times throughout the night. The big difference being that mine stays on until you push the power button again. I feel like I have tried everything lol, I'm cleaning the DIMM slots atm with and I'm gonna give it a look under a magnifier for damage on the mobo too. Till then, lemme know if you think I should try something.

I called Samsung and confirmed that there is no LED blink codes for the "Notebook 5" series. The problem is the motherboard or memory if you come across this issue. Replace the RAM first and then accept that the motherboard is damaged and it is likely a wash unless you are under warranty.
