I have an unrooted Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 P3100 Tablet and 32 GB SD Card with fat32 file system which has 4 GB file size limit but I want more to download big torrents and store movies. I know NTFS is good but without root it will not work. so I thought of exfat and I heard of it supporting big file size and if this is true I wanted to know after formatting to exfat will my SD Card work in my tablet or get undetected. I is very useful if it work as getting suitable for my needs. Thanks in advance.

fat32 can format 32gb cards, they wouldn't sell them for phones if they couldn't. every 32gb card i've put into my pc, i can format no problem. fat32 4gb limit is for 1 file size, not total size. in addition, you could put the card in the phone and format it there.

Try it. See if it works.
If it doesn't, format back to fat32.

This costs zero, and you have nothing to lose
