Solved! Sharp TV and Youtube app

I have a Sharp Model LC-55P6000U and recently the youtube app will not load unless I do either a factory reset or pull the power cord for a minute as a hard reset. Most of the other apps fail as well unless the reset is in performed. I suspect an update has been done or something similar for all apps to quit at once.

Anyone else experiencing this or have a similar issue? or a way to go back to the previous firmware?

I've emailed the manufacturers help line but no response as of yet.

Finally got through to higher level tech rep and was emailed a firmware update. Problem apparently solved!
