Sharp TV won't power on from remote after being off over night

Visiting my sister in Singapore and she has a Sharp LE652, which I believe is a European TV. The light on the front is blue when on and red if she turns it off.

If the TV sits overnight without use (or a number of hours, can't really tell how long) then when she returns, the light on the TV will be off - not blue or red. At this point she cannot turn the TV on from the remote. She has to hit the Power button on the front of the TV, the light will come on as blue, then she can power it on with the remote.

Is this some type of setting? I can't find anything in the menu about it and there are no active sleep timers.

Is there any way to make it so that we can always power it on and off from the remote and never have to use the power button on the TV itself? I assume this is some type of power saving feature but I cannot figure it out.

Thanks so much!

Solution
Specs on that TV show it does have an ECO mode. Try to find that in the TV menu and turn it off.
The EU does have very strict rules on how much power electronic devices can draw in standby.

Disabling eco mode fixed it. I was under the impression that only affected the TV while it was powered on since it seemed to adjust the screen brightness as well.

Thanks so much!!!!!!!!
