skydrive uploading instructions from nokia lumia phone

How do I upload Microsoft office documents currently stored on my Lumia Windows phone to skydive which is downloaded on my phone. I created my SkyDrive account and I also have created a Microsoft account (hotmail). However, the only option given me when I've attempted to sign in to SkyDrive is to create a new account. There are no options to upload the word documents. Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

Saving Document to Skydrive:
In the office app's main windows, tap and hold you finger on the document you want to save to skydrive. A sub-menu will pop up. Tap "Save to..." then select "Skydrive".


Logging in to Skydrive:
When you open the Skydrive app for the first time you should get something like this:

When you click Sign in... you should get something like this:

If you're getting something different, try re-downloading the skydrive app.
