Hi all,

I am looking for mux/demux software for recorded TV programs. The idea is to separate the audio and video streams so they can be edited individually (i.e., remove unwanted swearwords without affecting the video) and then recombine them afterwards. DVD Lab Pro has the required functionality, but it is extremely expensive. So now I'm looking for a opensource /freeware program that has similar features, or at the very least a cheaper alternative to DVD Lab.

Any ideas? Much appreciated.

OK.. So AVIDemux looks more like a video converter than a mux/demux program. VirtualDub refuses to recognise anything recorded via Nero, even when it's been converted to avi.

Any other suggestions?
