Some keyboard keys don't work as intended

The laptop is a Acer Aspire E 15, the keyboard's ''I'' and ''J'' decided to randomly stop working. I have unistalled the drivers and checked the Language, making sure its QWERTY and not anything else. I have tried to remap but not even that fixes the issue and I have no early restoration point to go back to.

Everytime I press the I or J with the on-screen keyboard on, the Ctrl key highlights. Any help is highly appreciated

Solution
I would try an external keyboard and see if that will work correctly or not. It will help determine if it is hardware or software or possibly both.

Also, when you did the keyboard drivers did you make sure that after you uninstalled them you rebooted the computer before they were reinstalled? If not it would not have worked correctly.
