sony blu ray player not connecting to wifi. Are there any usb adapters besides sony that I can use to connect to wifi?

Sony blu ray is connected to HDMI tv and working fine but is not wifi on its own. Sony wifi adapters are so expensive. Are there any usb wifi adapters I can use that are not made by sony?

It seems like it can only use a Sony adapter which is so expensive it would be cheaper to buy an android TV box for streaming. Would give you a browser, more apps, and flexibility too.
