I use an email filter/bouncing program, Mailwasher, the great thing about it is you can blacklist and bounce email, by bouncing emails (effectively saying your email address doesn't exist) it clogs up the spammers system and they realise you aren't getting the spam, so they stop.I've been using the same version for a good 10 years, maybe longer, I use to get 300+ spam emails a day, now I probably get 2 or 3, which I bounce, after the 3rd or 4th bounce they generally stop. I also use Mailwasher to pre-delete any subscribed emails, such as Amazon newsletters, that I'm not interested in reading (but may come across one of interest sometimes) and delete them prior to downloading any emails, I always install it on PC I'm downloading pop email to.
